Birth*10 July 1891 Edward was born on 10 July 1891. 
 He was the son of James Augustus Lamping and Mary Ann Smith
Birth213 July 1913 Conflicting evidence states that Edward was born at Webster, Park, Colorado, USA, on 13 July 1913.1 
Marriage*25 June 1913 He married Sarah Ellen Tyler at Old Tyler family homestead, Shawnee, Park, Colorado, USA, on 25 June 1913. Edward Posey "Pose" Lamping and Sarah Ellen "Sadie" Tyler were married at the old Tyler family homestead. They moved to Deer Creek where they lived from 1913 to 1945 when they bought the estate of Mrs. Lamping's father, Mr. Tyler, and moved back to the old homestead. On June 30, 1963 the family and friends of Pose and Sadie Lamping gather in Platte Canyon at the Shawnee Community Center to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. It was the largest gathering the area had seen in many years. This was the first time that all of their children were home together in over 25 years. In all, 63 members of the family were present at the celebration including 37 of the 39 grandchildren; Mrs. Lamping's mother, Ella Tyler, now 89, and other members of the Tyler and Lamping families.

Death*17 March 1978 Edward died 17 March 1978 at age 86. 
Burial* His body was interred at Lamping Family Cemetery.

Biography* 
He was born in Webster, CO. Sarah was born on her family's homestead; this a large ranch about seven miles east of Webster. Edward and Sarah were wed at the ranch in 1913 and celebrated their fiftieth anniversary in Shawnee, CO about two miles east of Sarah's family homestead. Sarah's father died from injuries received while logging on his homestead. Edward and Sarah made their home on a ranch about two miles south of Bailey, CO. Later in life they sold this ranch and purchased Sarah's homesteaded ranch. Edward and Sarah are both buried at Webster, CO.
Thomas Eugene Lamping writes; he was an excellant blacksmith, framer and builder.

Aileen and Charles met in September of 1946 at Long Meadow, CO. They were married at Charles' mother's house. After their marriage they resided in Park County, CO at Long Meadow Home Ranch (2 miles west of Shawnee, CO) until August 23, 1962; before moving to 1390 S. Yukon St., Lakewood, CO. They were living at this address as late as 1972..
