Hendrik Simon Tromp (5745)

Hendrik Simon Tromp is my great-grandfather. He died in 1954. His mother Anna Juanita Tromp was not married. The family story goes that he is a child of one of the Pietersz in Otrabanda. My cousin Carla Trom, granddaughter of Hendrik Simon Tromp heard it from here mother Ena Tromp just before she died. She also remembers that she was walking in the street and saw a woman at the other side of the street, looking very familiar as if she was looking into her mirror. Light skin and curly hair. Rest of the family was darker. Very strange. When she mentioned it to her mother (Ena), she said: there is family in Otrabanda. How exactly it was she didn't tell at that moment.

(4) 10. Hendrik Simon "papachi" Tromp (5745). Hendrik (5745) was born on 27 Oct 1876, at Willemstad, Curaçao, The Netherlands Antilles. Hendrik (5745) died 1 Dec 1954 at Stad, Willemstad, Curaçao, at age 78.
