Didn't find anything on Anthony Lamping.  But I did stumble onto
this TITLE(s):        Germans to America :  lists of passengers arriving

That is the way that book apears in the Rochester New
York public library, it is record of ship passenger list that are in the
archives of the U.S Library of Congress it consist of 20 large volumes
of ship records covering the period of 1850-1870.  I tried to copy the
records of Lamping Lambing and Lampe but after the third volume I began
to run of money for the copier, believe me their copier is a bandit.  So
I printed by hand a list of male Passenger of the Lamping and Lambing,
females only when listed with family groups, sorry to much to handwrite
Lampe also.  So fire up the printer and hang on to your database you
might connect the Lampings in St.Louis and Cincinnatti Ohio to Germany.
