Michael Kohl

Little is known of Michael Kohl, except that he was a German, and is believed to have lived in the Catholic settlement of Goshenhoppen before removing to York county. The name of his wife and the number of his children are not known, but he died at the ageeof 94 years. Having walked two miles to a funeral and back, he sat down to rest, and when they came to call him to dinner, he was found dead in his chair. The name, as we shall see, is sometimes spelled in the Conewago register Colt.
